Dining Hall
The Dining Hall in Podar GPS provides delicious healthy vegetarian food and prescribed by a good dietician. Although the menu is fixed it ensures that every child gets his full nourishment of proteins and vitamins.
The dining hall is centrally air-conditioned with a state-of-the-art architecture built over a huge area that can accommodate more than 500 students. The Dining Hall serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Elegant designs and interiors add to the welcoming ambiance to make it one of the best schools in Rajasthan.
Accommodation
There are separate accommodations available for Boys and Girls. All students in the school are divided into different houses as per their level of study under the strict supervision of House Masters who are the subject teachers. Within the houses, accommodation is comfortable and adequate. Students stay in dorms with their classmates. Every student is allotted a cupboard, work area, study table, and bed. House wardens are responsible for the overall development & hygiene of the students falling under their responsibility with a very vital role of nurturing and encouraging each pupil and also monitor their social development.
Other Facilities
Clean toilets and bathing rooms are provided to the students in the ratio of 1:3.This ensures that there is no confusion during rush hours. With a maintenance department in the school ensures that the health and hygiene of the student is of primary importance. Bathing rooms have fitted with geysers so that students can avail of hot water facility during the winters.
Each student will have one tutor to take care of the pastoral needs of the students. This includes waking up in the morning, exercise and yoga, getting ready for school, taking meals, evening studies, compulsory evening games etc. Separate wardens –one male and one female are overall in charge of the boys and girls hostel. Everything is from administration to maintenance the laundry services come under the jurisdiction of the hostel wardens.
There is a full time infirmary in the school to look after the medical needs of the students. Besides there is a regular Doctor in the campus. While the doctor conducts the routine check-up of the students and maintain the health card of the students. This is to ensure that the health of the students is constantly on our radar.
We provide separate library and computer facility to the students. Lots of referral books, projects, etc. are available for student reference. Similarly separate computer is available for any project work/programming requisite. Student will be provided facility to communicate with guardians/parents via email.
Under normal conditions parents are allowed to meet their wards on all second Sundays of the month. Local Guardians are however allowed to meet their wards every Sunday except the second Sunday. Parents and guardian are allowed to give their wards light snacks like cookies etc. However junk/fast food of any kind is strictly prohibited in the campus.
